Screening for Cancer Can Save Your Life

Breast Cancer Screening
Did you know nearly 1,200 women in Nebraska will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year?

Saint Elizabeth Cancer Institute, along with volunteer medical providers from the community, holds monthly, clinical breast exams at the People’s Health Center in Lincoln.

A clinical breast exam is a physical exam done by a health care provider to check for breast
cancer. Since breast cancer is most treatable when it is found early, regular screenings are
important.
