Breast Cancer Screening Did you know nearly 1,200 women in Nebraska will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year?
Saint Elizabeth Cancer Institute, along with volunteer medical providers from the community, holds monthly, clinical breast exams at the People’s Health Center in Lincoln.
A clinical breast exam is a physical exam done by a health care provider to check for breast cancer. Since breast cancer is most treatable when it is found early, regular screenings are important.
Prostate Cancer Screening Did you know that some men with prostate cancer have no symptoms? That is why regular screenings are so important. They can save your life.
Your risk for prostate cancer increases with the following:
- Age 50 or older
- African American
- Having a father, brother or son with the disease
- Eating a high-fat diet
