Online Breastfeeding Class

Our online breastfeeding class provides busy parents with information on breastfeeding at your own pace in the comfort of your home. This is an interactive web-based program that includes animated illustrations, videos and voice-overs. It can be viewed on a PC or Mac. High speed internet is advised, but dial-up will work (it will take longer to download).

What do I need to do?

Register online or by calling TLC at 402-219-7000

A parent’s book and other written materials will be sent to you by mail after registration is complete

You will receive an access code after you register and pay for the class. Please note that your access code is valid for up to 90 days. During this period you will have access to the online program as often as you want

  • Anatomy and physiology of the breast and breast milk
  • Benefits of breastfeeding
  • Skin to skin
  • Supply and demand
  • Frequency and duration of feedings
  • Correct position and latch
  • Pumping, hand expression, collection and storage of breast milk
  • Dealing with problems such as engorgement and sore nipples
  • Caring for yourself with proper nutrition and rest
  • The importance of support for breastfeeding

Class fee: $20.00 for 90-day access
