Patients with pulmonary disorders such as chronic obstructive lung disease [COPD], emphysema, cystic fibrosis and asthma receive expert care and treatment at Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center. They learn to breathe better and live healthier through a comprehensive rehabilitation program certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. The rehabilitation team includes:

• Dietitians
• Occupational therapists
• Physicians

A team member supervises each rehab session, closely monitoring the patient's blood pressure, heart rate, cardiac rhythm and oxygen saturation as needed.
