Evidence-Based Care of the Breastfeeding Family: A Workshop to Improve Outcomes at Hospital Discharge Thursday, June 6 and Friday, June 7, 2013 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (both days) Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center
Purpose Provide participants with evidence-based information and problem-solving skills that are necessary to support a breastfeeding mother in the hospital setting.
Target Audience This workshop is ideal for staff nurses working with moms and new babies, NICU nurses, lactation consultants, breastfeeding educators and lay support group leaders.

Cost $170 for CHI Employees, groups of 10 or more and general registration (all prior to May 15, 2013.) All registrations after May 15 will be considered general. General registration after May 15 is $200.00. Fee includes breaks, lunch and handouts for both days.

Continuing Education for Emergency Medical Services We offer free, continuing education classes to emergency responders. The classes are held in the lower level of Saint Elizabeth at 555 South 70th Street. Attendees will receive two hours of state-approved EMS credits.
