Assistive Listening

To help you make the best decision regarding hearing aids we will let you listen to a pair of digital hearing aids during a personal demonstration.

Assistive listening devices are designed to help you hear better in situations where hearing aids are impractical or perform poorly. The most common assistive listening device is an amplified telephone. Personal listening devices are available in many churches and in all theaters. These devices take the sound and deliver it directly to your ears using headphones. There are special alarm clocks that shake the bed or flash a light. There are even smoke alarms that flash lights. Some people use special headsets for listening to television.

These are just examples of many different kinds of assistive listening devices available at ENT Nebraska. Consult with an Audiologist to determine if there are devices to help with specific problems you may experience.

Trial Period

We always offer a 30-day, 100% money-back trial period on any purchase of new hearing aids. We also offer assistive listening devices to help with the telephone, television and other difficult listening situations. We provide hearing aid batteries at very low cost and will mail them to you at no extra charge.
